Medverkade i nedläggningsarbete av Långbro sjukhus och till uppbyggnaden av alternativ till slutenvården i lokalsamhället.

Doktorerat på en avhandling om återhämtning från allvarliga psykiska problem. Forskat på kommunernas sociala arbete, återhämtning som en social process - pengar och psykisk hälsa, hjälpande platser, hjälpande relationer.
